Father’s Day is coming up, and in honor of the holiday, we thought we’d share a few ideas to get your creativity churning for your Father’s Day meal. It can be hard to break out of your typical meal rut to come up with a fun and unique idea for what to serve dad for his big day, so we’re here to help.

We all know most dads love a freshly grilled meal, so we’re rounding up some delicious meat and veggie combos to give you a base for your meal. All you have to do is choose what protein you’d like to serve the dad in your life, grill that up along with a few of the corresponding fresh veggies from the garden, and then add another hearty side or two and you’ve got the perfect Father’s Day meal! As a bonus, we’re sharing a few favorite recipes at the bottom of the post to go along with your meal, so be sure to check those out as well if you’re truly stumped for ideas.

Of course, never forget that the best meat and vegetable pairing is one that makes your family happy. So, feel free to mix and match the below ideas to whatever suits you best - after all, this weekend is all about making Dad smile.
